Dodd bill to help ID theft victims passes Assembly

A bill meant to slash the time it takes to clear your name after an identity theft attack unanimously passed the Assembly Floor this week, Assemblyman Bill Dodd's office announced.

The Napa Democrat's Identity Theft Resolution Act will dramatically reduce the time it takes for identity theft victims to end harassing phone calls and remove negative credit reporting, he said.
