The San Francisco Bay Area Water Emergency Transportation Authority (WETA) was awarded a $4 million grant for its downtown San Francisco Ferry Terminal project, agency officials announced Friday.
Though the competitive Federal Transit Administration grant was awarded for the San Francisco Ferry Terminal project, the Vallejo ferry service also stands to benefit, former Vallejo mayor and WETA board member Tony Intintoli said.
