The nurses at Napa's Queen of the Valley Medical Center will vote Thursday on whether to strike, nurses union officials announced Tuesday. They are among nurses at several Catholic hospitals threatening to strike for better wages and working conditions, union officials said.
"Queen's RNs have waited long enough for our management to agree to a fair contract," Registered Nurse Marylou Bahn, said in the announcement.
