U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson is kicking off his first-ever Summer Reading Challenge by sitting down and reading to children at Vallejo's John F. Kennedy Library on Thursday, his office announced.
The St. Helena Democrat will read books from the Library of Congress' Summer Reading List from 4 to 4:45 p.
