It was a confusing and tragic moment for Isabelle Reyes when she first heard that her 18-year-old son Eric had been shot and killed in broad daylight.
Eric Reyes was fatally wounded Feb. 6 in his car after he and the driver of another vehicle got into a confrontation near the intersection of Springs Road and Heartwood Avenue.
