The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) will soon lift the federal quarantine on 446 square miles of Napa and Sonoma counties, in place because of a dangerous moth since June 2010, U.S. Rep. Mike Thompson announced this week.
This week, APHIS declared the European Grapevine Month eradicated from the from the United States, he said.
