Edgar Camacho says one need not have an artistic bone in one's body to be able to turn out an acceptable painting, and he proves it every week at the art classes held at his El Comalito Collective, art gallery and gift shop, 302 Georgia St. in Vallejo.
A Mexico native who grew up in Napa, Camacho, 30, is an HIV counselor and a self-taught, mixed media, performance artist and writer.
