The American Canyon branch of Umpqua Bank is closing for good on June 28, reportedly due, mostly, to the growing popularity of online banking. A farewell event is planned for Friday.
"Sadly our beloved Umpqua Bank in American Canyon will be closing its doors Tuesday, June 28 due to a corporate decision," city officials said in an announcement.
