Longtime Vallejo postal worker retires Wednesday

After 30 years behind the counter at the Vallejo post office, Aleris Morales' last day on the job was Wednesday.

She worked with another woman, Sukhi Nijjar, who has since retired, for decades at the now-defunct Amador Street Post Office before the pair moved into the new, temporary site at Marin and Virginia Streets in October, 2014.
