Napa County will get its much-needed jail after all, thanks to the state of California, which has set aside $20 million for that purpose, county officials announced Thursday.
This comes just days after Napa County Supervisors reacted to the defeat of Measure Y in the recent election -- a one-quarter percent sales tax for jail corrections and infrastructure.
