NAPA >> Recent storms have damaged public facilities significantly enough to prompt Napa County Executive Officer Leanne Link to issue an emergency declaration effective Jan. 8, county officials said.
Recent rainstorms have caused severe damage to several roadways, impacted the operation of the water and wastewater treatment plants at Berryessa Estates and Highlands, and resulted in hundreds of small rock slides, downed trees and power lines, as well as slippage requiring significant repairs, they said.
