There's no telling what can come from involvement with Vallejo's Cal Maritime's Women in Maritime Leadership Conference, which is open to the public, and is set this year for March Friday and Saturday, event organizers announced.
Three years ago, for instance, now alumnus Jamie Mattos, volunteered to be the conference intern and did such a remarkable job, she was offered an internship in the summer of 2015, which led to her landing her dream job upon graduation, they said.
