The Third Annual Vallejo Lemon Festival, set for 5:30 p.m. Saturday, will benefit the Capital Street Stairs Project, organizers said.
"If Gilroy can have a garlic festival, Vallejo can have a lemon festival," organizer Sarah Nichols said. "This town is filled with lemon trees. We will be harvesting lemons all around town and giving them away at Moschetti's (coffee roaster) and at the Farmer's Market and elsewhere.
