Rep. Mike Thompson (D-St. Helena) on Wednesday, led a group of 41 lawmakers in urging the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency to remove the word "Police" from its agents' jackets and vests, suggesting its making the country more dangerous, his office announced.
"This is a matter of public safety," Thompson said in a statement.
