Sutter Solano Medical Center officials want their patients and staff to feel acknowledged and appreciated, so, they embarked on a sort-of facility facelift, they said.
Also, studies show a relaxing environment is more conducive to healing than a stark, institutional-looking one, they said.
The "enhancements" were made to the center over the last 18 months, or so, spokeswoman Angela Borchert said.
