First Bank helps fill local food bank

To help fight hunger in local communities, First Bank branches in California, including Vallejo's, collected 5,081 food items and $6,421 in cash donations in July for food banks and non-profits statewide, bank officials announced.

The total value of the food and cash collected was $11,502, they said.
