Unemployment up in Solano, Napa counties in July

The unemployment rates in the Solano and Napa County areas were up in July, the latest state figures show.

In Solano, the rate was 5.4 percent in July, up from a revised 5 percent in June, but below the year-ago estimate of 5.8 percent.

Napa County's July jobless rate was 3.9 percent, up from a revised 3.
