NAPA >> The Napa Valley Transportation Authority is getting a $1.1 million federal grant to acquire electric buses for the Vine Transit fleet, officials announced.
Calling the grant "a significant milestone in ongoing efforts to encourage public transit use and curb greenhouse gas emissions," agency officials said the grant funds will be applied toward the purchase of five new, 30-foot electric buses.
