Interstate-780 in Vallejo will be closed over night for two consecutive nights as the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) begins installation of bridge scaffolding and initial bridge deck work for the new Laurel Street Bridge, agency officials said.
The old Laurel Street Bridge was demolished in June, and is being rebuilt above I-780.
