Vallejo man commits his interests, history, passions on canvas

For Vallejo's Robert Radigonda, it was about standing on the same ground his grandfather walked in a much earlier era - making him all the more disappointed to learn that last weekend's Evening at the Ruins event in American Canyon was sold out.

The event took place at the ruins of a former basalt mine, which city officials plan to one day have transformed into a destination venue.
