Vallejo, California gas prices spike after Harvey hits Texas

Hurricanes are not typical in California, and the state does not depend on the Gulf Coast for gasoline, but drivers here are nevertheless paying the highest gas prices in the U.S. this month in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, a AAA spokesman said.

The average price of a gallon of regular gas in Vallejo is up 19 cents to $3.
