Five brain surgeries, one spinal surgery and several rounds of chemotherapy have not rid 14-year-old Josiah Denham of Vallejo of his brain and spinal tumors, but a group of his mother's friends have not given up.
They have organized a spaghetti feed/contest, a childhood cancer awareness event planned from 4 to 9 p.
