Vallejo Sears specialty store is closing, new store sought

The Sears Appliance & Mattress store that opened in the Vallejo Corners shopping center in 2013 is closing, but the center's owner/managers are already looking for a replacement retailer and have potential tenants for the center's other empty spaces, company officials said.

An employee at the Sears store said she's not sure what day will be its last.
