It may look like it's made of eggs and milk, Cream of Wheat and some butter and sugar, but it's the secret ingredient that makes the Galakatobouriko the magical treat it is, according to the women of Vallejo's Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
"Love. You have to prepare it with love," said Nitsa Brodeur, 80, who spend the lion's share of the last two weeks preparing for the church's 30th annual bake sale fundraiser, along with "lead chef" Magda McPherson, 75, and five other women.
