Nearly 20 downtown Vallejo merchants are in it to win it, and the local economy and city residents stand to walk away with the biggest prize: A vibrant, shop-able downtown.
Many of the merchants downtown have gone all out to decorate their windows for the holidays, in the hope of winning the most votes from shoppers and some prizes, said organizers of a contest now under way.
