Napa-to-Sonoma bus service ends Dec. 29

NAPA >> The VineTransit Route 25 bus from Napa to Sonoma will cease to operate after Dec. 29, the Napa Valley Transportation Authority announced.

Agency officials cited low ridership as the reason for the change. It was losing money to the tune of $33,000-plus each year after a cut in federal transit administration funds, agency spokesman Derek Moore said.
