The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is doing bridge deck work as construction of the new Laurel Street Bridge above Interstate-780 in Vallejo continues.
The old Laurel Street Bridge was demolished in June, and is being rebuilt above westbound and eastbound I-780.
Once completed, which could be as early as mid-January, the new Laurel Street Bridge will be up to the latest seismic safety standards.
