Rep. Mike Thompson (D-St. Helena) on Tuesday released a statement following the signing of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2018 into law, which includes the provisions of his legislation, the Jack Alderson Toxic Exposure Declassification Act.
"For decades, veterans and civilians have been fighting to learn the truth about their exposure to toxic substances," Thompson's statement says.
