A subway signaling system devised by Mare Island-based Alstom Transportation, Inc. officially went into service this month at a Toronto subway extension, company officials said.
It's a first for the firm, they said.
"The extension officially went in to service Dec. 17, when it carried its first passengers," company spokeswoman Michelle Stein said.
