Arts Benicia applies to be a "Cultural District" of California

BENICIA > > Arts Benicia has taken the first step toward helping the city be officially designated a California "Cultural District."

Arts Benicia Executive Director, Celeste Smeland, applied to the "Cultural District" pilot program with the California Arts Council. If approved, the hope is that the designation will bring more tourism and activity to the Arsenal and downtown.
