AMERICAN CANYON >> The American Canyon Parks and Recreation Department is accepting nominations for community service recognition awards, this time including a new category, until 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 22.
New this year, is the category of Best Police Officer of the year. But, while it's presented at the annual event along with the others, the recipient is arrived at differently, city officials said.
