A handful of real life Rosie the Riveters are coming to Vallejo's California State University Maritime Academy next week for a free event, organizers said.
The program - part of the academy's celebration of Women's History Month and International Women's Day - will include a meet-and-greet, presentation, question-and-answer session, and reception, for the genuine Rosies who worked in factories and shipyards in the Richmond area during World War II.
