All 38 of Kaiser Permanente's hospitals - including Vallejo's - were recognized recently as a "Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equality" by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, hospital officials announced.
The foundation is the educational arm of one of the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer civil rights organization, according to the announcement.
