When KQED referred to Vallejo as the "Up Bay" a year ago due to its percolating arts scene, creative locals cheered - finally the Little Big City That Could might be put on the cultural map.
Now a new art space downtown has opened that features world-class artwork that could hang in any San Francisco gallery, further upping the "Up" in Up Bay.
