AMERICAN CANYON >> The city council unanimously agreed to support efforts to maintain the National Monument designation of Berryessa Snow Mountain - which may be threatened by Trump Administration policy - and to send individual letters to that effect to the federal government.
President Trump signed an executive order on April 26 to reevaluate all national monuments declared during a 21-year period from 1996 to last year, including the Clearlake area's Berryessa Snow Mountain that took some seven years of work to achieve.
