Solano County's Auditor-Controller's Office was awarded the Certificate for Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its comprehensive annual financial report ending June 30. This is the 15th consecutive year the county's been so recognized, officials said.
