AMERICAN CANYON >> An ordinance allowing city police to enforce a new speed limit on a private street is set to be adopted at Tuesday's regular City Council meeting and a new city job gets a second look after opposition from union leaders.
The typical second reading of ordinances adding new "Speed Limits" and "Enforcement on Private Streets"chapters to the city's municipal code are expected to be waived, for the purpose of enforcing traffic laws on Corvina Way and Corvina Court, where police and city officials have found recurring parking and moving violations.
