Safe Halloween event in American Canyon Oct. 31

The idea of having children go door-to-door trick-or-treating can make Halloween scary for parents. It's one reason the American Canyon Family Resource Center is sponsoring its 3rd Annual Halloween at the Plaza event from 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, executive director Sherry Tennyson said.

"We just want to have some safe trick-or-treating options," she said.
