Vallejo's new main post office boasts a new attitude, too

With only a couple of bugs discovered in the system, the "soft opening" of Vallejo's new Main Post Office at Valle Vista Avenue and Couch Street went off smoothly on Tuesday, postal officials said.

The new facility, constructed at the site of the old Vallejo City Unified School District offices, is replacing both the Amador Street branch, which closed after the 2014 South Napa Earthquake, and the main branch, which is closing to make way for a planned parking structure.
