AMERICAN CANYON >> A moving video from the firefighters'-eye-view was followed by a standing ovation from a packed City Council Chambers on Tuesday, when the council officially recognized its Fire Prevention District personnel for their contribution in battling last months devastating wildfires.
Council members also thanked retiring Police Chief Tracey Stuart and swore in new Police Chief Oscar Ortiz at Tuesday's meeting.
