Solano County Probation gets more than $200,000 to monitor repeat DUI offenders

Solano County's Probation Department was awarded a $280,083 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, to help ensure that high-risk, felony, and repeat DUI offenders are complying with all court orders, county officials announced.

These offenders are over-represented in traffic crashes involving alcohol and other drugs, often with tragic results, they said.
