Thompson, Amodei introduce wildfire prevention bill for high-risk communities

In the wake of the deadly and destructive North Bay fires, Rep. Mike Thompson (D-St. Helena) and Mark Amodei (R-Nevada) introduced H.R. 4208, the Wildland Fires Act of 2017, to better prepare for and prevent costly wildfires. It's the companion to the recently introduced Senate bill by the same name.
