Some Vallejo houses of worship eyeing beefed-up security after Texas church massacre

Vallejo's only synagogue has increased its security measures partly in response to a perceived increased risk to minorities and others nationwide, and they are not alone.

Pastor Scott Peterson of The Hill, Vallejo said his congregation is feeling a little nervous, too.

"Yes, we are more vigilant," he said.
