You've set your clocks back, but have you checked your smoke alarm?

If you hadn't set your clocks back Sunday morning with the end of Daylight Savings Time, you have almost certainly figured out your mistake by now.

But, did you also check your smoke alarm?

Two-thirds of home fire deaths result from fires in homes without a working smoke alarm, according to the National Fire Protection Agency, Vallejo Fire Department officials said, and they remind readers "to not only change your clocks for Daylight Saving Time but to also check your smoke alarms.
