If things go according to plan, a 3-year-old Mare Island-based business could save more than $2.4 billion in annual medical costs with a new federal grant aimed at fighting acne, company officials announced.
Riptide Bioscience, Inc.'s Executive Vice President Henry Lopez, this week announced the company's receipt of a grant from the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, an agency of the National Institutes of Health.
