New traffic lights and other safety enhancements installed along a 2-mile stretch of Highway 29 through Vallejo appear to be an unexpected casualty, temporarily, at least, of the October North Bay wildfires, a California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) spokesman said Monday.
"We're waiting on PG&E at this point," Caltrans spokesman Vince Jacala said.
