AMERICAN CANYON >> Several of those honored at the 19th Annual Community Recognition Ball earned their accolades at least in part, during last October's North Bay wildfires, officials said.
Powell Helems and Mary Tabbert were named the Gateway Award winner at this year's ball, which was sponsored by the Napa Valley Vintners, it was announced.
