Troy Plunkett, severely injured as a teen, now works to show others there's life after tragedy

Troy Plunkett was 17 when an Easter Sunday motocross crash changed everything.

That's not strictly true. The accident didn't change the now-32-year-old Vallejo native's spirit and love of life, and, in fact, revealed a desire to help others that lead to the creation of the SCI Active Network, Plunkett's "positive network for all spinal cord injury survivors and their families.
