. Day 1 - The crash
Jesse Bethel High School senior Janelle Ramirez got a taste Thursday of what it must be like to die. The 17-year-old popular cheerleader "died at the scene" of a car crash in the school parking lot as part of an ongoing program called "Every 15 Minutes."
"It feels surreal," Ramirez said, as she waited, with gory-looking injuries, complete with a piece of glass imbedded in her forehead, to be placed on the hood of the wrecked car through whose windshield she was to be fictitiously thrown.
