There is no lack of options in and around Vallejo to celebrate Independence Day this year.
Events are planned in Benicia, American Canyon and Vallejo that should provide something for just about everybody.
The area festivities start in Benicia at 6:30 p.m. Monday, with its annual Torchlight Parade, which proceeds the length of First Street, and includes dancers, floats, clowns and entertainment, according to the city's website.
